The list the core wallet of both currencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin).

1. Bitcoin

a bit from bitcoin.org.

Bitcoin Core initial synchronization will take time and download a lot of data. You should make sure that you have enough bandwidth and storage for the full block chain size (over 350GB). If you have a good Internet connection, you can help strengthen the network by keeping your PC running with Bitcoin Core and port 8333 open. Read the full node guide for details.

2. Ethereum

a bit from myetherwallet.com

MyEtherWallet (our friends call us MEW) is a free, client-side interface helping you interact with the Ethereum blockchain. Our easy-to-use, open-source platform allows you to generate wallets, interact with smart contracts, and so much more.

3. Litecoin

a bit from litecoin.org

Litecoin is a peer-to-peer Internet currency that enables instant, near-zero cost payments to anyone in the world. Litecoin is an open source, global payment network that is fully decentralized without any central authorities. Mathematics secures the network and empowers individuals to control their own finances. Litecoin features faster transaction confirmation times and improved storage efficiency than the leading math-based currency. With substantial industry support, trade volume and liquidity, Litecoin is a proven medium of commerce complementary to Bitcoin.

There are many good wallets that can be relied upon to store Bitcoin and Ethereum in addition to these basic wallets such as the blockchain wallet, which is a good and reliable wallet that supports the storage of Ethereum and Bitcoin as well.

I will not suggest anyone to use blockchain wallet, a wallet that provide email space as a form of recovery. I know it is a noncustodial wallet but the email makes it to be more connected online. Let me ask a question, if the email is compromised by hackers, will they not hack the wallet easily?

Of course yes, and this will make your thinking go to protecting both accounts (email and blockchain account) so it is preferable to exclude this and only use it to store currencies temporarily, and use a Bitcoin wallet as Bitcoin core or Electrum for long-term holding.

Exactly my point. But bitcoin core also has its own reason why people are not using it. Although it can serve this purpose. But, being a full clint wallet, it makes it impossible to use without downloading the entire blockchain. This will take at least 300 gigabytes of ROM.

But, it is a very good wallet that do not need to connect to any server before it performance task.

You are right about this. But did you know about the pruned version of bitcoin core wallet? You can use the pruned version with a very low amount of memory used. But it has certain disadvantages, you will not be able to import new private keys later unless you download the bitcoin blockchain. I took will suggest people to use the light client wallet which is the best. Like electrum.

100% on point. Non-custodial wallet are supposed to be the safest because of holding the private key rather third party as we all know. Now, connecting it to email for recovery option is like taking some few steps backwards; it can be compromised easily not even by an hacker but to just anyone who has access to the linked email. I clearly agree on this.

I know about the pruned version of bitcoin core, it makes use of little memory space like you have implied but it is hard to use like you said, especially when you want to import another private key to the wallet which is definitely not possible at all. The wallet is safe but being full client makes people not to use it.

Each wallet has its own characteristics and features that differ from other wallets. For me, I prefer Litecoin and then Dogecoin in second place because of the transaction fees.

Litecoin and doge are not wallet but cryptocurrencies. There is no one talking about transactions fee here. We are only talking about the wallet themselves. I think you can try to go through the topic again and make the right comment.

Except for Dogecoin, I am familiar with the most of core wallet listed in this topic.Fortunately, these core wallets give us full freedom to have wallet private key. Developers are working hard to bring so many interesting features in these wallets.

There are many different wallets in the crypto currency exchange. Like a trust wallet, bitcoin wallet, Blockchain wallet, etc . Some wallets are safe and secure wallet because its security is high. I like this wallet. I recommend you this wallet.

I prefer cold wallets because they are more secure than exchanges, but this depends on the level of the person themselves because many wallets are lost due to poor account security or the same person forgot to enter information in their box.

The problem with the bitcoin core Wallet is to take a large space on your device they download the full blockchain to you to synchronise with the the latest transaction, not like other core Wallet for the coins you mentioned it's easy to use without store any thing

You are right, the wallets provide us with private key because they are fully decentralized, but not only them are fully decentralized, all noncustodial wallets are fully decentralized. But, I will not recommend any wallet that require email like Blockchain wallet.

@Yomose I think you mean to say non-custodial wallet here. Non-custodial wallets are fully decentralized but users have to be very careful while using any online protocols to connect wallets. Some corrupted platform may steal wallet's seed.

I appreciate the correction, I meant noncustodial. About the stealing of the wallet seed by the platform itself, that is why it is better to use a reputed ones that are already trust worthy, rather than new ones that have not yet earned any trust.

Very good theme, except for the wallet for Litecoin (LTC) I think there are better wallets for that crypt currency than the one you mentioned above.

For me, MyEtherWallet is the most used of all the options because it supports a huge number of ERC-20 coins. This makes it more convenient, because you can get more coins and not only Ethereum.

Many individual coins you will not believe they have their individual wallet have, although, except ERC-20 token wallets.

If not because someone will have to download the whole blockchain for bitcoin on bitcoin core, it would have been the most used.

Core wallets are secure and trusted because they are developed  by good developers.  I used bitcoin core wallet to store bitcoin.
