Receiving reputation is one of the best achievement here, for me it means someone appreciates what we posted or commented but we can't change the fact that although we received good reputation there's some people who will give us negative reputation and their reason why? 

Maybe he saw something in our post that he thinks shouldn't be here or he has a view that different from us that's why he gave that. 

 

Although this case happens we should not think that he/she hate us but instead let's respect his/her point of view. 

Don't feel bad or mad about that, we must accept people's opinion sometimes so we can learn and grow from it.

You are right @Dark_Sky. i think negative points are nothing personal. its just something Member-A dont like/agree in what Member-B wrote.

People have different opinions.

in my case so far, i just give 5 negative points to copy past and plagiarize content or something scam.

Yes, mate. Everyone have different point of view in life. Others might want your post, others no. So, don't easily jump to the conclusion that when someone gave you bad reputation or negative rates, it already means they don't want you. No! Always look in the positive side, why they do that. As a someone who is giving rates, always tell why you gave negative rates, for the improvement of the creator or user who posted a topic. Let's not be selfish who just gave negative rates then didn't tell anything. That's a bad habit. Don't ever do that.

Two peoples are not same in this world then how we think everyone like our topic, some people accept your topic and some peoples not so they show their rejection through this negative reputation,  think equally and accept members opinion and move forward and always try to post good content every time.

Yes, different people have different prospective and they can see your content from different view. It is good to take feedbacks from different people because you can know your mistake and solve the mistake.

The best thing in the new payment system is that when we rate someone's post he can't see who gave him it ! This will make us easily give anyone negative rate if he really deserve ! 

Also about positive rates ! I think it's better to don't know who gave you it !

I don't think it makes any sense to worry about that kind of thing because if we were to do a campaign of how many people have more than 1 account on this forum, we would be shocked because I believe that many people have many accounts and are giving themselves a good reputation for that reason I think that it makes no sense to be angry for receiving negative reputation

Everyone has a view depending to the kind of person on the other end.  I would however expect that someone who disagree will give his reaction in words not just the -5

Yes. I also noticed that. It usually has names under the posts when its liked or not but now I can only see numbers.

Yes this is a good thing about new updates. But let's be responsible when giving negative rates, even though they won't see you try to comment a reason why you're giving such rates to his/her post. In the positive rates, that's fine if you're just leave a rates only.

That's true, we are all different perspective in life, we also have different thoughts about specific topics if he finds it so useful then he might give you a good reputation and if he finds it not helpful or he disagrees on what you have said then he might give you a negative reputation.

 

Maybe they have strong beliefs on something and if you created a topic that is against what he believes even though its good to other people he will still give you a negative reaction.

I agree to this topic you made my friend. respecting someone reaction or giving reputation is not that bad and we don't hold their decision so we must accept it. Learn from it if they give you bad reputation and if they give you Good reputation we must continue of what type of posting that we made.

The use of reputation should have a valid reason even if it is subjective. If people find our post a useful post, then give a right amount of reputation, but if we find our own post a good post then someone are giving an undeserving rate, it should not be okay since they are not using their reactions in a good way.

Never give negative reputation without a feedback so the one who posted will be aware on what's wrong or what do you think wrong about his post.

Yes, because many users are really doing this kind of thing. They giving random negative rates without any explanation or reason to give to the creator of the topic. They leave the topic creator meaningless without knowing why he got a negative rates.

I'll give you an example. Someone replied earlier to one of my posts, and his reply was totally useless. He paraphrased what I said and basically it wasn't needed at all. Perhaps he shouldn't even reply. How can I act when I see this? I downvoted . The guy noticed it and immediately downvoted the comment that he replied as well!! 

Ok I mean there is a lot of spam. When you reply to someone please do it for a reason. I get notification for replies. Why should I waste my time for no reason.

No matter the system of reputation we use in the forum, (former or present one), it will continue to be being abused especially by spammers and people who are here for no purpose. Reputation has been used as revenge and return of favour in both cases. 

I don't care about that, I am more about enjoying myself and learning while using the forum.

personally , I always gives negetive as well postive reputation according to post or Comment . sometime if users answer that's is completely rubbish and opposite of topic , then we must used negative reaction .

I also think reputation is like a gift To content crater we must used it according to post .
