China ranks its top 37 Cryptocurrency projects

China has updated its cryptocurrency projects rankings consisting of 37 crypto projects

The rankings are published by China's Center for Information and Industry Development (CCID), under China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and are updated in the interval of two months.

The Top 5 Crypto

1. EOS

2. Tron

3. ETH

4. IOST

5. LSK

Bitcoin sadly doesnt makes it to the top 10 rankings. Bitcoin climbed to 12th position in the ranking. The last rankings were affected by the Corona Virus pandemic in which Bitcoin was ranked in the 14th position.

China being the center for Cryptocurrency movement has some influence over the direction of the movement. These rankings published by China's governmental institute can be a valuable piece of information while trading and investing.

The rankings are based on Global Blockchain Technology Assessment Index. The index ranks Crypto projects in Three subindex.

The basic technology subindex - 65%

Innovation subindex - 20%

Creativity subindex - 15%

This is quite shocking that bitcoin couldn't last in the top order list. The coin is worth of 10k usd. But still it couldn't make to the list. And it seems that in China they are quite not addicted in investing in bitcoin projects.  They are the center of cryptocurrencies movement. Maybe they are not interested in making btc projects and they also want to launch their own cryptocurrency.

@DmaskedIt is interesting to see EOS,TRON,IOST  at the top spots in this list. In the case of Bitcoin, it was at the 17th place in their top cryptocurrency list now at least they moved it to 12th position. I wonder, k they are giving more priority for cryptocurrencies coming from China according to maximum usage rates in their country to list in the top spots in this list 😉 ?

I know About first 3 coin , I really big fan of Eos and TRX coin , I sure that that's coin touch a very well value in Market in future .

this is good if we see more projects from China in future.

The ranking is based on the following index

The basic technology subindex comprises of 65%, innovation subindex 20% and creativity subindex 15%. The rankings are not based on usage rates, trading volumes and total value. Thatswhy, bitcoin is having a hard time to get into the top 10 list as it does not measure much in those assessment index.

Bitcoin needs stability and a real use case. For it to become mainstream, volatility should decrease substantially, and payments should take a few seconds at most. I think the ranking reflects the current shortcomings.

@johant123I made your some point bold, it's okay transaction speed should be increased within the Bitcoin network but my mate, how you are telling about to decrease volatility of Bitcoin 😜? Extreme price volatility is the beauty of Bitcoin in the cryptocurrency markets, do you think reduction of volatility may make Bitcoin eligible to get involved in the above list prescribed by China?

This classification is somewhat different because I see that the most traded alternative currency and market value, which is called Ethereum in the third place, I expect that this classification was created in favor of a specific entity only and it does not represent the arrangement of currencies in China

This is the list that make sure about the most traded cryptocurrencies in China. Bitcoin is in the top chart of the market and also in high value. But this is not an everyday traded coin. And that's why the coin gets not enough attention to trade it in a regular basis. And the source code of this currency cannot be changed. That's the main problem occurs when accpeting it as a government coin. They can't control it for the profits.

Extreme volatility is great for speculation, but not for average consumers. For long term adoption as a currency, it would be more attractive when the price stabilises.

@Dmasked happy to learn about the new improvement from China. The first three coins are very potential Eos, Tron, eth. We hope they increase more and more of this. Bitcoin been stable could not solve most problem of loss but main solution is for it to be moderate, 30 at decreasing and 70% at increasing

Sure those are the most used cryptocurrencies project that are used by China, but I don't know why they avoiding bitcoin uses like this and don't mention it on the top five list.

Indeed, bitcoin is not the most used cryptocurrency in the world, it is Tether which replaced Bitcoin from the most used cryptocurrency. The market capitalization of Bitcoin is far bigger that Tether almost 30 times bigger but Tether still surpassed Bitcoin with the highest trading volume.

Funny how bitcoin got 12th place considering that it's the most secure chain out there. Seems like an awfully biased list anyway so i wouldn't take that very seriously.

 

I am not a biggest fan of BNB but i wonder what they did not to get even on that list.

This topic really surprise me bitcoin not stand no1 position in China crypto ranking, its really strange and unexpected think and EOS coin occupied no1 project, every time we says bitcoin is the king of altcoins but this articles proved other altcoins projects also strong and this coins projects have the potential to beat bitcoin in future.

I think that this list issued by the Chinese National Institute is the most popular and traded cryptocurrencys in China, and this is an important indicator for crypto users to invest and trade in these currencies because it has good projects and a strong future in the crypto world.

Maybe some indexes say that these coins are really good, but I don`t like EOS blockchain at all. It is always overloaded and you need to stack a lot of coins to have opportunity make transactions with your funds

That's expected of the most of us. 

We all know that bitcoin really goes down in the previous month due to pandemic but gladly it now totally healed or recovered from the impact. 

I think in the next ranking possible for bitcoin to take the place between 1st and 5th rank.

I would like to have a better understanding of the evaluation points for scoring the proposed coins. However I stick with TRON and ETH on the list. Good luck in your investments to all and hopefully these coins will increase in value very soon.

I was searching for Bitcoin in the top 5 list and I didn't thought it will not make out. How the index works I don't know. But the reason why we are finding Bitcoin at 12th position is due to corona virus. Then its obvious thing that it also affected other cryptos too. But in case of Bitcoin,  it affected more.

As matter of fact I doubts the ranking system, because I can imagine BTC the top leading, most value and expensive coin emerging as 12th position not even able to make up top 10th. Based on so many crypto publishers, exchange site ranking BTC always comes as first class coin which I described some times as father or king of allCrypto currencies

Well, what about Neo project, especially since smart contracts were added during this quarter of this year, and I have read several articles that Neo project will be supported by the Chinese government, so it must have a place on this list in the near future.

Among these projects, I am very excited about the future of Ethereum, perhaps some people consider Ethereum to be more important than Bitcoin, since in the recent period Bitcoin is being stored in decentralized financing projects using the Ethereum blockchain, and this is a real revolution.

I don't understand this ranking. EOS first and Bitcoin 12th. I know EOS is mostly run by Chinese so probably this is the reason and this list just shilld their investments. I don't think we should be looking at this list for investment advice. I would ignore it, but thanks for giving us this information.
