My friends, through my daily and continuous browsing for winning digital currencies, especially (Bitcoin), I notice that there are some platforms as binance and coinbase  that constrict some countries from trading. I am wondering if any of you know the reason for banning these countries.

most of these are US based companies, which means they have to comply to US laws and regulations, and there are many countries that are under a trade ban from the US government so they have to restrict those countries from accessing their services

Yes, many platforms prevent some countries from trading and the reason is that there are global sanctions on this country, so the platform prevents users from this country from entering.

That's what i really heat in this platform and any kind of website like that,the world of crypto is suppose to be open for all and that's why we come here ,and you surprise with the restriction from some platform specially Coinbase

Yes iam also notice some exchange not allows some countries to do trading, I think this exchange follows countries law because some countries banned crypto totally, so this exchange also restricted this country users,

Countries getting banned from using cryptocurrencies is some very unknown thing. This might be made by the government itself to ensure no one gets use from cryptocurrencies .

Because these countries governments don't want their people to benefit from this crypto field.  However, there are someways to bypass this for sure.

They are not banning they just don't allow users from some areas to use this futures, and there is no reason for that, coinbase don't allow me to trade but there is no reason for that, but binance works for me, and also i can trade with blockchain.

There are some countries that certain exchanges avoid because of some restrictions imposed by major nations. These countries are usually N. Korea, Syria, Iran and a few more that are in a state of conflict. As far as I know though, Binance allows all countries to trade through their P2P trading platform.

I have also noticed that there are some countries restricted from using some other features in certain crypto related websites or exchanges and this is might be because  cryptocurrency is highly monitored or restricted by governments in those countries.

Some countries have banned cryptocurrency tradings and government has applied the separate regulations in that case popular cryptocurrency exchange platforms like Binance does not want to affect such countries' policies, I think this can be a reason to restrict.

Most of those countries are restricted from using exchanges like binance and coinbase because of the laws on those countries that make it illegal to use cryptocurrencies or at least exchange and trade cryptocurrencies, it has nothing to do with exchanges, the more customers and the more countries have access to exchanges it means there will be more money for them so you can be sure that they would allow users from those countries if they could but you could say governments are making those restrictions.

I agree with you as you said and I think that the reason for this is the loss of knowledge by these governments about cryptocurrencies and electronic culture.

This is true, there are some platforms that are not available in all countries and the reason behind this is that these countries have sanctions or it is prohibited to deal with them, so the platform is banned in these countries

Well from what i read and heard including Coinbase's reddit / twitter page, they have announced there were some bans applied to specific countries because of illegal activities and law restrictions.

@abualez like your question dude if you could make more further research you might have different reasons why countries are banned. But the real truth is that countries are banned due to some ilegal activities on the platform example faill to follow rules systematically breaking the forum rules. This makes them banned also here in this forum for about 6 Countries are banned due to illegal activities including spamming and trying to scam other users and friends on the platform.

There are many platforms and sites that prohibit many countries and most of these countries are from Arab countries and the reason for this ban is due to the fact that these platforms and sites are American, so these sites must adhere to the laws of the embargo and the sanctions that America places on many countries

Nice information, I was wondering why mom Asian countries are prohibiting cryptocurrencies, i know it can not be due to any effect on their economy. Or is the American platforms will have any negative effect on them?

Bro this is due to various problems like if some companies ban other countries-maybe it's due to rule of the country, or people there are less interested so launching isn't profitable or the origin country doesn't allow it. Or maybe othe too so we can't say exactly which rule is working on which company. And talking about Coinbase they can't deal with the banks of those restricted country so they don't allow their services there officially.

Yes, that is completely true. There are many well-known platforms such as Binance and Coinbase banning many countries that are subject to economic sanctions by the United States

As far as I know most of restricted countries contradict with different laws or regulation rules in countries where exchanges and platforms are placed

Am not sure with this but i think most of this companies they banned some countries according to their rules. Many companies they invest or providing their services to developed countries.

I have also seen this. Many countries are also banned in yobit platform. The reason that yobit is giving is that most of the users from this countries are scam. Due to some of the people, the genuine users from those countries are not getting chance to work in this platform.

Yes Unfortunately this is true  , the banned some countries because 90% of the members from this countries Is a scammers , so the banned all the country to still a way from scamming , and this is bad , because there is many people want to work by rules, i wish this can fixed.
