"Victims of clipper apps "

Recommended Posts

There are many beginners who fall under the clipper apps trick and they are the applications that change the addresses of digital currencies and replace them with the addresses of the attacker and thus when the victim is copying the correct recipient address is replaced with the address of the attacker who pasted the transaction processing and thus the attacker gets the money. Therefore, you must protect your phone from fraudulent applications and take the correct actions when making any transaction.
 Be fine, my friends

I ve never heard of these apps. Thanks for your warning. We really should not download any unnecessary applications on our devices and not trust new applications because we may lose our money and our data is compromised.

I didn't know these tricks existed in mobiles. There are viruses in desktops though that have a similar effect and change the address to one of the attackes. The malware identifies the coin that the address belongs to and switches it to one of the scammers. From what I've seen so far they can change the address for transcactions of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Doge.

The first time I have actually heard of such a method of theft I think it is indeed a very cunning method
We can verify by copying the link in a clear location, comparing it with the copied link and discovering the matter

This happens most of the time when I cut or copy the wallet address, so I rely on checking the address several times before doing any transaction and it is not related to the presence of fraud applications on the computer but the language of the computer also I have tried and found that the computer in Arabic is more likely to change the wallet address

It is always advised to use authorized store like PlayStore for Android and AppStore for iOS. If app are downloaded from the external unauthorized stores, there will be bigger risks of installing malicious applications which may trick you to steal cryptocurrency stores in your wallets.

Didn't know there are these kind of apps, even google play store is full of scam and fake apps these days and mobile users and specially those that often download apps that has unknown sources should be really careful about this then, because mobile devices by default has way less security than a desktop system and by installing apps that have no clear background you can be compromising your security.

I have heard a lot about these applications, including applications that mix the addresses of the governor, where the mixing is a complete change of address and when we send money to the address the fraudster gets it so we have to pay attention and get away from these applications as much as possible and there are also some additions that he adds to the browser that changes When we ask to send money, the address has been subjected to one of these additions
