Do you use one or more Bitcoin addresses?

Couldn't have put it better, this is simply the best practices for crypto transactions and I believe most wallets gives you the option to generate new wallet address when you want.

Most multi-coin wallets are not offering this option, for example Exodus wallet does not have it, and almost all other similar wallets. Electrum supports only Bitcoin officially and you can have multiple addresses.

Yeah I get it, so for wallets like Electrum which can give such support great and for other wallet which don't what will now be the best way out? Creat another wallet within the wallet to generate a different crypto coin/token wallet address for them? e.g Enjin Wallet.

I have not used Enjin wallet, and maybe you can do it with that wallet, but I tested lot of other wallets, and I know only about Zelcore wallet that allows you to have 3 addresses per coin and per account.
You can create more than one account

You should know that using only one address makes you much more easily tracked by anyone,
so best way is to always generate new address when receiving Bitcoin.
This is something everyone can do very easy, and makes you much more private when using Bitcoin.

What do you think about this?

This is actually good advice. I haven't thought about it. I do have a different address for each of the exchanges I use. And I'm always changing currencies and sending it between exchanges, so I think it would be hard to follow me. But I am going to make a note to get some more addresses.

You are talking about exchanges.... what about wallets that you own your private keys?

Keeping crypto on exchanges is not safe  and it is not your crypto.

Like everyone said! never put all your eggs in one basket! and having one address to store you Bitcoin will be more fragile to you. Having bitcoin wallet address is just free so why dont we create more and use them to be safer? 3 or more wallet address is the best to have!

I know it's generally not safe. I don't have a lot of BTC at the moment (I'm mostly holding altcoins). I keep them on exchanges for now because most of they are earning interest while I hold. And I might want to trade with them at any moment. When I have spare funds that I'm not using, I will move them off.

I could be wrong tough, but I'd rather just two wallets one that is easily accessible for every now and the usage, then the other which is a very secured one for coins that I'm not using often.

What do you think about this?

In accepting bitcoin, yes, to protect my privacy. But I'm not too concerned with privacy. Isn't blockchain supposed to be transparent? As long as I have excellent protection against hackers.

You trust to much on your  'excelllent protection' two installed antiviruses to protect you from hackers....
but in fact they can't do that...Antivirus protects from viruses not hackers.

Blockchain is transparent, but that does not mean you have to expose your identity...

I have several addresses.  But on the blockchain wallet, when I received bitcoins, it appeared a new wallet address even though I only had one account, but when I deposited it into the new address, bitcoin still entered my account, not knowing how they did it.  hey, the addresses change all the time

Yes.  It's also good that you will have 1 wallet to hold your coins for a long time and 1 wallet to access regularly to trade, I also see many people doing so.  For safekeeping I think you should use a cold wallet

Then can you explain how hackers can break through the system? And what is a virus or malware is? Who made them and how they scattered?

Yes, if you made this rule. In reality, the government requires you to disclose your identity through KYC. I agree with this. Because I do not support the privacy of money launderers and especially terrorists.

Yes, i read this advice that you should never put all your money in one wallet, incase one happens to be malfunctioned or undermaintenance and you need to access your money to withdraw then yoy have several wallet to choose and i think keeping a few bitcoin address is good for transaction so no one will trace you i guess.

Most important is to backup your private keys and seed so you can recover them any time.
Here is one explanation, as I see many people don't know why you should not use one address:

Good luck and be my guest 😊

One wallet is enough in my opinion. Do you have more than one wife? No. Do you give much attention to her? Yes.

What I mean is - having a one wallet and in there to have everything is safer. Have a HD wallet so you are not worried about the number of addresses and to keep all the private keys in a safe place. Just keep the seed in a safe place also make more than one copy. Here (below) is have a suggestive post which explains details. I hope this will help.

make  new address for new transaction so it will be clear to read things better if you want to use one address for long time then you can use it anyway

I've never used more than 1 address as I didn't needed to or had no reason for that, by just having one address I can see my transactions list easier on blockchain whenever I want

Yes it makes it easier for you to find your transactions, but also makes you highly vulnerable because anyone can trace and know the amount you which is very risk, just like showing your bank account balance to the world.

if I want to make it untraceable I won't even use bitcoin at all, I prefer using Monero for this kind of transactions and for privacy

I think most of us here use more than one Bitcoin address. I personally generate different address for every transaction I make, so I'm one of them.

I guess that's a choice, I really don't like Monero by the way, not for any real reason though, It's easier for to just keep my transaction BTC-ETH oriented.
