Don't Provide Your Identity To Any Website!

Recommended Posts

I m one of those who dont like the KYC exigence in cryptocurrency, because I think still the cryptocurrency is not regularized and we cant trust a such person who is virtual from a such website and the risk if is an airdrop.

Not all KYC should be done. Some required KYC and it is important because your data are safe and also you need that before you proceed. But for those airdrop don't give out any KYC including some bounties that are asking for KYC.

I don't see reason why some site require s kyc verification I think there are different ways they can secure ones identity without using kyc because using kyc is too transparent and your identity I shared to a third party.

I agree with you not every campaign we have to get ourselves engaged with mostly like the airdrops you said they are always request for kyc verifications and this is stealing of identity.

Well, not all of the legit airdrops are getting some KYC mate like the airdrop of YODA, yobit didn't requires some KYC just to participate from it and many members here get some YODA without submitting personal info's.

Yeah that's right and I'm completely agree with you ! It's not just dangerous for our money ! It's also dangerous for our pictures because they may hack our phones !  So we have to keep our information just for us or only with trusted websites

yeah you are right , but I think that there is many benefits if we doings KYC ( only on TRUSTED brand like binance , bittrex ) .

still I doings KYC on binance because we know that binance is really a trusted brand in market , I never recommend to doing kyc for airdrop purpose .

You're right mate, we should only check those websites doing KYC if is it legit or not so we avoid using our identity on wrong doings or even to scam us. Prevention is better than anything, always search first so we can know is the website is trusted or not.

Yes you are right but if you could understand what I said I did not generalized all airdrops but most of airdrops request of kyc so this could be like 60-70% of airdrops could be kyc.

Hello dear friends.

A lot of websites, especially Airdrops websites, require KYC or identity verification in order to get the free bonus for example.

However, some of these sites might be scam and could steal your ID very easily!

So please, do some researches before sharing your ID.

It is a big thing to remind about the users here in crypto world since there so many scams and who want s to steal your information that's why when i'm in doubt back then in cryptocurrency i think about i will work in it but i will make sure it is safe for me and also same goes for everybody, don't reveal your identities and your information about your account and yourself.

doing KYC on airdrop sites is the most dangerous thing that people do and Airdrop sites can sell people's identities and run away and in the end people get tokens that are worthless and still risk being involved in some activity criminal

As scammers and fraudulent project and sites are developing with the great airdrops but most of them are scams and you shouldn't share your full identity and you have to research well before giving your identity.

There are still many people doing that even though there is no chance of even getting $2 from these airdrops. Also most of these projects lie about the EU AML/KYC regulations. There is no regulation claiming that if they make an airdrop they should ask for KYC. There is need for KYC only for investors in the ICO. Any project claiming different is lying right now.

Thank you, you are right because many websites require identities in order to use them for illegal purposes or sell them on the Internet.

Yes i agree with it i have also seen many scammed sites as i think kyc is very strong verification to protect the users accounts and activities likewise we need to be very much careful from such scam sites before providing any personal informations.

Some involved third party and others don't. Some of our KYC data are protected by agreement while other doesn't bother about that and that is when our data got compromised because there is no agreement in between. Too bad that we are selling our data for low coins.

Majority of the newbies that are into cryptocurrency, they don't know how important and potency their data is to them, still when they will be hacked or their data been sold to third parties, then they will realize their mistakes, some platform are good for doing kyc verification while some you should not try it at all.

You're definitely right. First things first, always check or do some research about the website who are asking for our identity to make sure it is legit or not. Most of website now are just scamming its users so we need to be vigilant as always.

I agree with this so you can avoid getting scam or you can avoid unexpected things in your account.

Don't fall on their traps and prioritize always the safety of your account and coins.

I have already seen a lot of Airdrop sites asking for identity verification in order to get the free crypto currency. This is very likely to be scam in my opinion..

Yes that's the internet. That's why we need to be more careful with the sites we use and the informative we share especially if these are personal and private.

Actually you are correct that is why it is very dangerous to provide your private identity to unknown airdrop because you can't hold them accountable at the end the coins they distributed is not even listed in the exchange market.
