First of all, I prefer not to taint the discussion with the value judgment inherent in the word ignorant. So, let us re-frame the question as follows: How it is better to have more versus less education?

 

The benefits of having more education can be boiled down to the following:

 

One will have studied a certain variety of subject matter that requires different modes of mental processing, which will be helpful later in processing different types of information that one comes across in the course of one’s daily life.

One will have a larger information base, as well as tools that will make it easier to find more specific info that is needed to make good decisions in life (for example, where to live, what to eat, how to manage one’s affairs or who to vote for), or to make things happen (for example, starting a new business, moving abroad, organizing for a cause that you care about).

It gives one a certain overview of history that can be useful in avoiding certain errors, as someone has written: those who do not study history are condemned to repeat it.

It gives one greater access to the riches of one’s own and other cultures, in that one has the vocabulary and comprehension of complex sentence structures needed to understand and appreciate great literature, one has at least some idea of what to look for in great works of art, architecture, music or dance.

It can give one a sense of adventure (as opposed to a sense of fear) when confronted with the unknown, and give one the tools to engage constructively with new ideas, people, places and things.

Education is real needed, but crypto education is a forbidden knowledge for some countries, so how can we get that education to people freely.
