I don't think either one can be considered stable as far as price is concerned. The only thing stable about either is the volume they have as a coin and volume can help you get out of trouble a lot easier if things start to turn downward on you. good luck!

Neither of these two currencies, neither Bitcoin or Ripple are stable currencies. They are also characterized by volatility. If you want stable currency, you have other options.

For a non stable coin. Doge is very stable. And as for BTC and ripple. In terms of the short term. They aren't stable at all. You couldn't rely on them to hold value. If you want stable for real you might as well buy some gold.

Unless a coin is backed by gold I would say none are stable. Even gold goes up & down. It's all a risk, only invest in what you can afford to lose.

which coins are backed by gold? i guess none right now, right? but i agree that there is still very ups and down even with gold behind

LOL Yeah I sure wish some were backed by gold! I've been doing some research and with crypto it is hard, unlike a stock that one can see who's buying, crypto gets a little tricky. One thing I look for is the team. Is the team solid, are they experienced, have they been active with success. Anyone can create a token or coin but it will only be as good as the team running it.

It depends on what you mean by stability.
Bitcoin will disappear, then most likely the cryptocurrency will disappear completely. This, I think, will not happen in the near future.
And if some altcoin disappears, then other cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin itself will remain...

the most stable of couse is stablecoin. but you wont get profit from that. volatile is a part of crypto, if you ask me as xrp holder, i said hold xrp. i believe this coin will surpassed ethereum in next year

Thr most stable coins in crypto space are the stablecoins and nit Ripple or Bitcoin. These are e.g. Tether, USDC and Pax. The price in FIAT currency is always the same.

What do you mean stable anyway? are you talking about stable altcoin this month or what? because for me one of the stable coin as of the moment was Ethereum and not Bitcoin, but it doesn't mean I'm not a bitcoin believer of course not!

I don't think other the stablecoins there is any other coin more stable than another. All the coins/token are all volatile in nature and mostly react to BTCs price and since it is usually paired along other cryptos, then it's price affects others.

seems youre new to crypto so stable coins are like the USD or EURO but in crypto like USDT BUSD and so on, bitcoin and ripple are volatile as the rest of cryptocurrencies.

I think the most stable at the moment is Etherium.
I observe this ETH token does not have a high increase since 2 months ago.
obviously this is very boring if you trade this token.
I can only pray that the ETH token will have a rise if bitcoin is halving later.

That will surely happen, especially if bitcoin halving is happening, Ethereum will follows too to increase it price value in the market. But for now we need to hold em until right timing has come.

Bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrencies. Token is a coin which doesn't have its own mainnet. So token is a temporary project unless it gets its mainnet and explorer.

I know how you feel, I came to that position before, you don't have to rush yourself actually, and you don't need to be an expert too. All you need to do is do the basic necessary things that's it. Now what basic is that? start with study or learn, I know you want want to earn here and you need money, but there's no shortcut here for you to ge a huge amount of profit, you need to accept that fact. Just be patience, not be emotional and be humble.

Being a newbie in trading you must still learn while doing the actual trading in the platform, and it is also right to begin with small investment, at least you are aware about the consequences in day trade, just don't be greedy that's the no. 1 rules.

Yes I think its easy to start with a 100$ for your first crypto investment which is something thats not a lot if you end up losing it all. But to go all in with your investment in crypto without any knowledge thats how you get rekt.

That's a good starts amount in your case, just good luck to your journey in day trading, remember all what I told you here, the most important is don't be greedy but be patience and always think positive when you are in the actual market of trading.
