In the last hours, the Colombian national government announced that the integration project with cryptocurrencies had been authorized, it is a pilot plan where Binance has the responsibility of orchestrating, reporting and regulating the transactions carried out within the market p2p and are related to the private bank "Davivienda", which is one of the largest in the country. It is estimated that currently there are only quotas for 20,000 customers, who can convert their cryptocurrencies to the local currency without having to sell to a private individual, the transaction would be with the bank and the money would be available in 10 minutes or less. This plan had been in mind since 2020, but the increase in the price of BTC hastened its authorization, this could represent a change in Colombian banking, by allowing to convert cryptocurrencies safely and without paying extra taxes.
