  1. XRP Swell pump is here. Brace for the ride fellas

  2. Long weekend is over. Back to reality again. arghhh

  3. I give crypto as a gift last year and I intend to do it again this coming holiday :) The way did it, I let them install a local wallet using my referral link then I send them crypto in their wallet. By doing this, I saved my time and gas for holiday gifts shopping.
  4. I think they can't do that just yet because of the regulations in different countries. Coins.ph is fully regulated by Philippine Central Bank.
  5. Oh, nice to know about that. But if I may just add, onr can use coibs.ph anywhere in the world provided that they have a working mobile number issued by any South East Asian countries.
  6. They don't charge anything except the bank transaction fees. They even give a certain percentage rebates. By using crypto currency in paying my credit card, I can say that I use basically crypto in my daily life. :)
  7. I don't know if you can use this when you are not a Filipino citizen. You need a Philippine mobile number to get verified. Anyone non Filipino tried using this?
  8. Just like my fellow Filipino already said, I use my ETH to pay utility and telecom bills. I also use it to buy plane tickets (Air Asia and Philippine Airlines) and to reload my RFID (use to pay toll fee in the expressway). I also use crypto to pay my insurance policy and UB credit card. I can do all that using coins.ph app.
  9. That's what traders call speculative bubble. Cryptocurrency price always react with the news. Well of course, stable coins are the exemptions.
  10. Those who panics are the one who believes in FUDs and those who are FOMOs. To avoid that mistakes, you need to have a clear set of goal when you trade. Establishing a certain percentage for profits that you are happy to take and loss that you can manage. But of course, you need to follow it religiously. Without a plan, one get have a panic attack in every price swings.
  11. Luck plays no role in trading. It's your call and bad judgement that makes you think you are unlucky. You need to understand that even the best trader can predict the price movement. That being said, you need to spread your buy and/or sell order. Spreading your trade will help you minimize your losses and maximize your profits.
  12. Scalping is not too risky as others have said. All you need to do is simple calculations and a defined profit. Scalping is simply profiting with a small percentage but doing it many times a day. Scalping can be very profitable when you have a large amount in your trading account.
  13. Having a clear set of goal/plan is my key to be successful in trading. I always follow it religiously. I'm shorting half of my portfolio to maintain liquidity. The other half is for long calls. I maintain an equal amount of fiat in my trading account so that I always have some to buy when the price dips.
  14. I see a lot too and it makes me cringe but most often gives me a good laugh when I can decipher what that members wanna say. How can someone be so bad in English considering that it is the universal language? I mean. I don't judge those people but they could've at least write it in a manner that we can understand. Be it wrong grammar or wrong spelling, at least we can understand what they are trying to say, rather than using translator which we all know, that it translates so bad to the point that it becomes blubber or just pure nonsense. I don't wonder though why the hell they are here even though one can't post even some basic English. Some sats works like a magnet eh?
  15. It all boils down on what your plan is. If you are just looking for an alternative investment and you don't foresee to liquidate your funds in the near future, then HODL is better. But if you are looking for an additional income and your funds to be liquid, trading is more advisable.
  16. Same for me, I have never calculated how much fees I should pay. I use electrum too I usually choose the slowest I am not in a hurry to get my transactions confirmed. lol. Anyway, this tutorial is great for those whose are wondering how the transaction fees is calculated. I'll try to compute my next transaction so that I will know how much I am paying.
  17. I heard about btc on 2013. I have to contend myself collecting sats from faucets because that time its hard to buy bitcoin in my country. I remember faucets pays a lot that time. Then I move to the city to have work and totally forget about my bitcoin. I get back to bitcoin in the later part of 2015 and this time, I bought 3 btc from my 13th month pay and bonus from work. I can't remember how much exactly but I'm pretty sure its less that 300 usd. I also started trading bitcoin. Then I left crypto world again on mid 2016 because I went to work in the Middle East. I came home on the later part of 2017 then my friends told me that I should invest in bitcoin without him knowing that I know about bitcoin already. He told me the price of bitcoin is about 13k usd that time. So I hurriedly check my bitcoin wallets and trading accounts. Good thing I was very organize like any accountant should be. hahahaha. And the rest is history. I still hodl more than half from the btc that I bought. Also, I have an equal amount on my trading acounts.
  18. Long term hodlers for altcoins is kinda risky. Thats why some consider them dumb. But for bitcoin, that would be a different story. As for me, I kinda add some btc to for my long term investments. I also do maintain an equal amount of btc for trading purposes.
  19. Time and again, it demonstrates that btc price is purely speculative bubble. It always reacts with the news. Whether good or bad, we see btc price moved up or down. On the side note, I hope the bears can support this price. Otherwise, a drop to $8,300 is imminent.
  20. I hope I wont' regret it though. Lol Anyway, I'm buying again at 8,700. Will be watching the price tonight so that I can adjust my call order if needed.
  21. It wasn't my plan to sell when I put a sell order at 10,100 usd. I was just testing the market because the book order at coins.pro is kinda wild the last time I check it. Then I went on to do some things and when I check it back, 80% of my btc has been liquidated. hahahaha. But I wont be buying at this price. I feel that it will drop some more (crossing my fingers now. lol) because what we saw is not really a bull run. The correlation between btc and altcoin price is the same just like any normal trading days. The last bull run I saw, it made altcoin prices go down. This is not case this time around.
  22. Hah! I said I will wait for 10k usd. So I put 80% of my btc holdings on sell order for 10,100 usd and boom, it got liquidated. If I will regret putting that sell order, that will remains to be seen in the next 24 to 48 hours. But by the looks of it, I wont regret it. lol
  23. That may be the case. An increase of 3000 USD is fair enough. But the bulls are not able to sustain its price. As I am writing this comment, btc price is now falling again.
  24. We have the same sentiment. This is no bull run for me. I have read a while ago on the news that is is because of traders capitalizing on some news and traders that liquidate their short position. This price rally is some kind of just above the normal rise and fall of btc price.
  25. I doubt, this is a bull run. This is just traders reacting to some news from China. They are just riding the waves. I could be mistaken. But by the looks of it, this ain't any bull run compared to what we've seen the last time.
