  1. I'm fine with the time difference now. I really think it will cut down on people making 30 quick posts a day and they might actually post something useful.
  2. I'm not in favor of the KYC exchanges and it goes against the very reason that I got into crypto in the first place. It takes away the ability to remain anonymous and you don't really have any idea who they will be sharing your information with. Selling data has become more lucrative that selling oil.
  3. I like the fact that I can remain anonymous but that is starting to go away more and more as websites and platforms are now demanding KYC. I think any website or exchange should have to tell you that you need to do a KYC before you send them any BTC but a lot of them don't.
  4. I've used crypto to gamble on different websites and to play some fantasy sports games but I am not really sure you would call that spending. I am buying or gambling with crypto on something that many use cash to do but other than that I have only bought gold bars using BTC.
  5. I've been in crypto for a little over 3 years and I agree with the put BTC away and forget about it. I always put away half of any BTC I make in any trade. I am waiting for a big push on BTC again and then I will cash half out. I sold at 16k when it hit 20k and I am fine with that because I was buying in the 8k range. I'm glad I didn't wait for it to hit 25k like I was hoping for. I wish you luck in all your trades.
  6. I would say it is risky because you only have the one chance of the coin going up or down, with 2 or more coins they all have to go down otherwise they offset each other. You are only talking about $300 so unless this is your entire bankroll I would take the risk if you really like the coin. good Luck!
  7. I think John McAfee is just looking for attention and letting people think he is something bigger than he really is. He will put his name behind any project for the right price regardless of what he thinks of the platform. that's all you need to know about him.
  8. I think the idea of a private text has both good and bad implications. the worst part is going to be the spammers are just going to continue to do it regardless of if you ask them to stop. I think a block button would have to be added to the private text feature to help solve that also.
  9. Those dice games are twice as scary as any trading I have ever done. trading requires a lot of patience and the willingness to take small profits sometimes. The dice games are a get rich or broke quick scheme. The two are as different as night and day.
  10. The most important thing I probably learned is to be patient. I bought a coin because I liked it and if it suddenly drops in price I don't sell it because I think it will keep dropping. I stick with it and wait for it to go back up. I have held a few coins for more than a year and reaped the benefits of some good profits.
  11. I didn't predict it at all. I actually invested in 2 gambling coins and one did ok and the other coin went crazy in just a few months time. I took some of those profits and invested in a few IB coins on yobit and I kept the rest in BTC. Both coins in the IB did really well and BTC went from 9k to 20k while I was holding it. I just got lucky on a few trades and the timing of them. Good luck and hopefully you find a few good coins.
  12. I don't think either one can be considered stable as far as price is concerned. The only thing stable about either is the volume they have as a coin and volume can help you get out of trouble a lot easier if things start to turn downward on you. good luck!
  13. I would be very leery of any new sites that provide gambling. It doesn't cost much to put up a website and the $ they can take in if its a scam can be huge. People love to gamble but betting that this site is legit might be your biggest gamble.
  14. There are people that made more than a million with just a 1k start. Before the bull run there were coins that were going for 20 sats and in a few months the coin was .50....look at the chart history on NLC2 about 3 years ago...you just needed to hit the right coin at the right time.
  15. I also traded Forex and the difference is night and day. Crypto is the wild wild west and there are very little rules on some of these exchanges. High risk but even higher reward. I suggest you start out really small and get a feel for it while you also do some research. You found this site so you are on the right track. Good luck.
