I converted about 25%of my btc into a stable coin two days ago, hoping to buy back at a lower price, although I may actually wind up buying xrp instead, depending on how the prices and prospects look.

People have been predicting The Great Altcoin Apocalypse for a couple of years now. According to what I remember about at least a few if these predictions mist alts should be gone already. My opinion: when it comes to crypto, nobody knows what's going to happen tomorrow, let alone in the long term.

I know how you feel, growbitcoin. I signed up for and did all the tasks for the recent NRG airdrop, then either entered the wrong email or the wrong NRG address ( in any case, something went wrong) so I never received my NRG. They were giving away 100 which comes to about $215 at today's price. Same as you said: I was lazy, didn't double check everything and it cost me.

I got into crypto in Aug. 2017. A little late to the party, but no complaints: in the big picture I'm slightly up on my investments, and I'm optimistic about the future.
