  1. Another anniversary of joining this forum... but not much has been going on in the English section these days.

    Nothing unusual here. Carry on.

  2. Today marks my 2nd anniversary in this forum. Whoah, it's that time of the year already!?

Last year, I decided to do some 'following' around.

    https://cryptotalk.org/profile/2378-kyoukage01/?status=834&type=status

This year, I will update my 'Follow' with the same parameters as last year. Well, there isn't much to do actually, with what happened recently here in the forum and all.

Speaking of what happened in the forum, payment for posts in the English section is still disabled. The payment resumption date is still unknown for normal non-Russian members. So folks, instead of waiting for payment, why not apply what you've learned in this forum so far? TALK tokens are still profitable actually, even now, BUT ONLY IF YOU PLAYED YOUR CARDS RIGHT.

Hint: Check out the TALK token chart at Yobit, and you should be able to see a near-regular pump period.

Want proof? Sorry, but for privacy reasons, I can't show you my transaction records 😝 . You'll have to take this wee bit of info with a grain of salt if you don't believe it. Besides, a pro crypto trader should be able to figure everything out and make an even bigger profit than mine. Maybe ask them instead? LOL 😂 .

As for why I don't post as much as I used to? Simply put, I don't receive as much notifications as before (like someone quoting me, posting questions on the topics I made, etc.), and because of that, my activity here isn't as much as it used to. I'm still not much of a crypto expert BTW, so all I can do for now is post some latest crypto news if nobody else has done it yet.

Let's see if I can survive for another year, with the pandemic and all. Take care, y'all.

  3. Right now I can't stop laughing at this.

What's with those pictures, you wonder?

If you haven't read the forum news yet, here's the announcement regarding the updates on BTC payments here.

    https://cryptotalk.org/topic/106294-new-payment-and-rating-system-for-the-forum/?do=findComment&comment=13199923

So after the announcement, shitposters started to dump the tokens (pic 1), and either they got discouraged from posting further in the forum, or they got blocked from posting (pic 2).

Now look at them spammers squirming around, HAHAHA!!! 😂🤣🤣

  4. For you guys who have been regularly viewing my status updates, remember the time I said that my old computer broke down?

    https://cryptotalk.org/profile/2378-kyoukage01/?status=478&type=status

Well, I just received a new PC. Wheeeee!!! 😍😍😍 I'll be using that soon after I make a few tweaks to my liking.

    Spoiler

This is a heads-up just in case I get under suspicion for changing devices. Who knows, maybe the previous owner is a Cryptotalk member as well...? LOL.

  5. Tomorrow, Oct. 8, will mark my one year of surviving in the forum. And to commemorate it, I will reverse my previous stance against "following" other members a bit and will now follow back the ones who have been with me all this time.

I will now follow back the members with the following criteria:

    - Active members

    - Followers before tomorrow (cutoff time)

    - Jr. Member rank and above

    - Not yet banned

No other bias aside from the above mentioned.

List of followers who made the cut:

    @AkaCrafterCZ @alexisfuentes @Ashsh @Babubu609 @begdaukus @bitcoinb @cryptoya11 @kryptonick @Ndayebo8 @redamoun @rekter @Syedbesharat @Whited35

Thank you for following me all this time.

      rekter

Yeah, maybe i should update my criteria as well. i just noticed that looking at "members i follow stream" is the only way to even find a post that isn't a copy paste, against the rules or made by bot. I am glad you are still in here guys.

      Thanks for the replies.

Even before, I have already been keeping an eye on the members who have been following, and have been paying greater attention to their posts and advises.

  6. I will not be posting crypto-related content for a few days, as I am going to help clean up the forum instead. Just post below this message if you guys have any inquiries for me.

  7. I just noticed that we have a new admin on our forum:

    https://cryptotalk.org/staff/

    image.png.5e949f539c9518f05ae0fca798b07c1f.png

Perhaps it has to do with adding the arabic language in the forum. If I'm not mistaken it was decided or voted to implement this.

    2. kyoukage01

      kyoukage01

Oh, that previous poll by Desais? Perhaps so, but that *ehem* low-quality post I just showed isn't what someone would usually expect of an admin. Not exemplary at all.

  8. (I have no inclination to post this anywhere in the forum except here.)

With the way things are going now that we have a new feature announced, once the people picked up on it and an influx of new users increase as a result, there is now a possibility of users who will exploit this opportunity to do things up to no good. Things like shitposting are of course still fairly easy to detect, but no longer so with reputation abuse now that users giving them out are anonymous. Due to this, I have already raised my concerns on the subject (and a few more) in a post but have yet to receive a statement from the mods on the matter. Well then, we'll see how things fare in a few weeks or so if the mods can handle the extra work of detecting reputation abuse without help from normal users. We users in turn should step up on what we can do to help, whether correcting erring members, simply reporting them, or whatever.

As for users' concern about the profitability of the new tokens that are replaced from the previous 1000 sats per post, my theory is this: based on the mod's announcement that the "demand for the token from advertisers is high" as he puts it, once we users sell our tokens on Yobit, the advertisers (aside from other opportunistic buyers) are obliged to buy the coins (via a trading bot or manually) and has the option to sell these coins back to Yobit (through means I am still too ignorant to put into words as of this moment). These coins Yobit got back are then used to pay this forum's users for posting, and the cycle continues thus. Long story short: advertisers are the ones who are paying us for posting, in a way; doing sig campaigns therefore would be optional. (Again, this is only a theory and may not be entirely correct.)

Already I am seeing signs of increased activity in the forum (and not all of them are good ones), but once the token becomes available for trading in September, the 'fun' part may really start here. If the tokens become popular and expensive, with 10 TALK tokens (new rate per post) becoming more expensive than 1000 sats (old rate), we might see increased activity that is comparable or even exceeds the activity of the first 3 months of the forum. But if the token turns out to be a shitcoin, then in a worst case scenario, the users' furor on the matter might force the management of the forum to take drastic measures (I'll leave what those are to your imagination).

Some members might be happy with the recent change, but I am still wary of it. This forum is walking on a dangerous tightrope, and I think the majority do not, or refuse to, realize it. I really hope the management knows what they are doing, since I find the activity here more enjoyable than the pay-per-post and don't want it to end so prematurely. In the meantime, we should do what we can to help, like what I said above.

(For members who want the link to this comment of mine, here it is: https://cryptotalk.org/profile/2378-kyoukage01/?status=597&type=status .)

    Spoiler

(Hmmm... users won't be getting paid for posting here, but will do get paid for receiving 'likes'. Very well, if I find the comments here useful and interesting, I'll give 'likes' on the scale of how good it is. A good post is a bloody good post, after all.)

I was monitoring someone who is suspicious of 'farming likes' and was about to PM a mod about it, but it looks like I was late: he already got banned today.

      user profile page here

At least the mods are weeding out potential reputation abusers even without help from us regular users.

I'll be rooting for the forum staff, keep up the good work. Woot, woot!!

  9. OK, now I'm mad.

It's not everyday that Cryptotalk has an original article made here but...

The article I created exclusively for this forum was deleted.

    https://cryptotalk.org/topic/96041-exploiting-price-crashes-bullruns-aint-the-only-way-to-make-huge-profits/

Apparently some F***in' a**hole copy/pasted my article on a news website:

    https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-currency-and-its-value/exploiting-price-crashes-bullruns-arent-the-only-way-to-make-xpqgqm

And now it looks like I am the one who did the copying instead. WTF!?

Oooh, I'm going to raise hell indeed. Nothing sinister, the honorable route of course.

  10. Question: Why am I inactive?

Simple and quick answer: My computer broke down.

Long explanation: Just like I said, my computer broke down. And I'm not going to compromise myself by going active on other IP addresses and/or devices.

I had to ask a friend of mine (ignorant to crypto and certainly doesn't own an account here) to let me borrow his computer for a bit so I can post this message. Mods, if you find some issues like possible multilogin or whatever, please give me a break.

Until I can find a way to fix my computer or replace it with a new one, I won't be active for a while. Fear of possible multilogin, hacking, etc., those kind of things, you know.

To everyone, if you have something to say to me while I'm gone, just give me a PM or reply to this post. Until then.

@teminalibug My computer problem is more on the hardware side - I've traced the problem on its motherboard. It may take a while before the friend I "contracted" will be able to find a suitable replacement.

Or maybe if I can somehow make our older computers here to work by salvaging some parts, I might be able to at least get one to be able to surf the internet.

As for my mobile phone, mine is a 10-year old Nokia model, which I have no inclination to replace yet, LOL.

I'll be back momentarily after I fix things up here. Just because my country happens to be one of those omitted from the pay-per-post doesn't mean I'll quit being active here right away.

    3. kyoukage01

      kyoukage01

I got one of my older computers to run with at least being able to browse the web.

      Finally!!!

Now all I have to do now is to deal with the backlogs in my notifications page and I'm good to go.

    4. kyoukage01

      kyoukage01

      Uwaagh...

      気分が悪い。

I got inactive again for a time as a result.

I thought I was gonna die back there. Not from COVID, but probably from food poisoning ☠️ . Not a great way for me to start pushing up daisies if I got my a** handed over to me that way 😑 .

  11. Now that the 'police thread' is down, violators have breathed a sigh of relief. This motivates them to do what they are best at doing at, that is, spamming shit all over the place.

    https://cryptotalk.org/topic/20971-ctorg-police-station-ps/

Now there are simply too many shitposts and shittreads to report, and I find it too time-consuming to track them all down and report them one by one.

@hexwin's report thread is only limited to plagiarism, and thus is inadequate, even improper to report other offenses like reputation abuse, scam PM's, the ever-popular off-topic spams, etc.

Since it has come to this, I will now decide to focus on a few threads to track them, specifically, my own. For a long time, the threads I made are a natural 'death trap' for shitposters, and I'll tighten the leash on my threads even further this time. I'll stop looking for them and let them come to me instead.

I will still report shitposts on other threads I've visited, of course, but I will not be able to catch them all this way. I will leave them for others to find and report, and I will trust that they do the right thing.

Maybe now I can finally post more than a couple of contents per day this way.

I read the thread but i have objection.like me many users  who make report of copy paste deserve to be rewarded at least our  post counted .We are loyal to forum but we spend extra time can you imagine i go for from page 1 to 9 of the thread for finding  copy paste comment. They have to clean the hexwin thread from useless comment and make new thread for reporting.Sorry if i offend you but that is my opinion.

    3. kyoukage01

      kyoukage01

No offense made, don't worry. I rarely get offended with others' opinions, even negative ones.

Too bad we can't really do any discussions on that thread - Desais forbade it.

Who knows? Reporters might get paid this time.

Let's see what the mods' next move will be. It will be up to them whether they pay us for reporting or not.

I have read the thread and hoping our  efforts are rewarded some day.But i am not greedy for reward all i want to do is to make myself better member and clean forum. You have nice nature i hoe we get along in future.I am their for you if you needed me.I am just now looking for old members like me on forum because the are precious to me.The mods knows about us because they keep tabs on reporters. Now a days i am seeing many new members are reporting also .

  12. I have issued a challenge for interested ones.

Oftentimes, people tend to post short comments that is obviously posted just to get that pay-per-post. Who in the right mind would want to give 'likes' on those?

For me... I tend to give 'likes' to posts that are unique and out-of-the-box.

And I already pledged to reserve my 'likes' on one specific thread. If you have a penchant for reporting shit threads, you know what I mean.

    A challenge for the brave:

    Quote

Hah, let me tell you what: PM me your best posts, and if I find them useful, interesting, unique, AND does not violate any rules, I'll give them 'likes'.

But if I find them to be the opposite, I'll give them 'bad post' reps and/or even have them reported for violations if proven guilty of it.

    Bring me your best shot.

Anyone who can see this message, and are thirsty for 'likes', are eligible.

Let's see if there is anyone who actually has the balls to do it 😄 .

  13. Well, that was quite a long vacation I had.

Nope, I wasn't been banned from the forum or anything. I merely took time out this holiday season.

    I'm back now.

    1. kyoukage01

      kyoukage01

I had another long vacation from the forum 🙂 .

And whoah, my rep points finally reached 100+!!!

For someone who has made only less than 400 posts, that's a very high ratio! (NO CHEATING INVOLVED, of course.)

To everyone who gave me those 'likes', thanks.

  14. This is what the shitposters have to say to the staff that "slayed" their brethren:Untitled01.thumb.jpg.a86cf5a9e2fcbad0f719498a9980ccd8.jpg

    Hahaha, the fools.

Still, this pic would look better with a trollface in it instead.

  15. So what happened?

All this time, more than half of active users on this forum were copy/paste bots?

    Untitled00.thumb.jpg.4cb516720ada329d5ad6d152b126b748.jpg

    Offensive post:

    Untitled00.thumb.jpg.10c8f607d5f75b242074f154d2e6a8a4.jpg

    Original post:

The little prick has been dealt with, of course. Via the [report post] button.

Why not post this on the [Report Plagiarism] thread? I prefer reporting shitposters there en masse, to make whiners who say I get paid for reporting there shut the f*** up.

Posting there DOES net you 1000 satoshi via the pay-per-post rule. Posting only one person per report will definitely look bad: one person per post equals 1000 satoshi. If I do that, that would mean I only report for profit, which definitely doesn't sit well with me.

Should I show this to them? Nah. Let their egos fly high over there, I'll just sit here and enjoy my pocorn 🍿 in the meantime.

Hello every one i am happy to write you my  experience in crypto  world and how i made 30K usd in 3 month starting from 40 usd i  know when you read that you say it is scam or any kind of shit but believe me this is totally true i  made 30k in 3 months i  will  tell  you how

at  the beginning i worked for ICO and get  airdrop called cargo and i earned  50 usd then i found telegram group witch  made pump coins in coinexchange  platform we started doing the job and we take profit  of average of 100% daily we worked till the exchange down and close and now i am planing to create  a new telegram group to  do the same job but this time more developed if anyone want  to join me for the group please  be free to contact me on my  telegram @mahdicln thank you  and have nice day

LOL!!! Look at all those comments!!

  17. The feeling where you spend more time hunting down shitposters than posting quality content 😡. And I'm not even getting paid for it, yet there are users who claim that I, and other reporters, do. Yet, somebody's gotta do it, or else this forum would be drowning in shitposts by now.

At least I noticed that there aren't as many shitposters nowadays as it used to. The forum staff has done a great job in cleaning up this site so far.

EDIT: Hah! Just caught two copy/pasters for today. Quite the cunning way they did it too: one used too many synonyms to make it look original, the other used THREE posts in one. Already reported those via the [report post] button. No need for a 'like' reward on this one, since I have nothing to show for it.

Update: I got 5 in total for today! Hah! Now for that good night rest...
