  1. It has happened with my comments as well. It happened about an hour ago again...
  2. Perhaps you're talking about Ethereum Classic blockchain - it was subject to 51% attacks a number of times. But the current ETH is different and has nothing to do with the old blockchain. On the other side if you talk about exchange websites - they are like banks - if someone breaks into and robs a bank this doesn't mean that the money stored in the bank are to blame but the security of bank itself - the same is with the exchange websites.
  3. For me it's neither buy nor sell now - it's hold. In about 2-3 months I think selling would be great choice. For the next 3 months I see it going up but after that it's gonna crash hard to levels below $10K. So expressing mood I can say I'm bullish for short to middle term and bearish for long term.
  4. For sure I haven't violated any of the website rules as some of you suggested. If the current topic still exist in future and I still have the desire to publish any topic containing not so positive views about Bitcoin I'll save the text and paste it here for you to judge for yourselves.
  5. No, I haven't published any news regarding Bitcoin - I just wanted to discuss some sides of Bitcoin that no one discusses. Everyone talks how Bitcoin is the best crypto that we have now but I think it is just the opposite - Bitcoin is not what it was supposed to be - it now has quite high fees, it's quite slow and not suitable for mass adoption and it is not flexible - it doesn't allow serious development upgrades and that is why it has that many forks and so on and so on. Whenever I mention something like the listed I expect that a discussion would appear and people would prove me wrong but what happens is my post is deleted in a day or two. I noticed that my last posts were deleted yesterday so perhaps it have been some weekly clean-up but those posts were not more than 2 days old. These post s hadn't got any replies while they were present but my impressions are that 2 days are not that much time especially since I see people are not that active as they used to be last year.
  6. Hi guys, do you know if it is forbidden in this forum to ask questions about Bitcoin which are not expressing the common opinion that it is going to the moon? Until now each topic which I've created expressing some bearishness about Bitcoin has been deleted. Are only Bitcoin pumpers free to comment here? Do you think if you censor everyone who tries to point out Bitcoin's weak sides that these weak sides are going to disappear by themselves? Forums are about open discussions - I'm not here for the post rewards now, I just wanna communicate on the cryptocurrency topic and exchange useful information.
  7. I have already tested importing the key into Exodus wallet but it showed some strange error - something like "there are no funds on this address" or something similar... I will try the Guarda wallet you recommend and see if I have success.
  8. I think it should work but I thought there is a way to use the private key without a wallet since I had similar issue with Tron and an Exodus wallet and then I found I can use the private key I had from the Exodus wallet right on the Tron's website so that I could use the website as a kind of tool to access only via the private key I had from Exodus. So I thought there could be similar option with Cardano as well but as far as I understand there isn't such. What do you mean by saying "multicoin wallet's seed"? What does "wallet's seed" mean? Thanks!
  9. I guess you're talking about: https://explorer.cardano.org/en Yes, when I enter my public key I can see the amount but that's all - I don't see a place there where I could use my private key. What if they don't fix the issue - does it mean that I'd only see a sum of money but can't access it even having the private key? Thanks!
  10. Hi everyone! a month ago I installed Atomic wallet on one of my laptops since I read positive reviews about it. Then 15 days ago I decided to send some Cardano to it. Well, in the beginning when I tried to check my Cardano balance it showed a message that there is an issue with Cardano which the Atomic wallet team is trying to solve. Now 15 days later the message has changes and it says that they are launching some updates regarding Shelley update and this state is show in the last couple of days so I've lost hope that Atomic wallet team has intention to fix the issue at all. So I've heard many time that if you have your private key you own your crypto but I've never seen how I could use a crypto without a wallet. How can I access and use my Cardano only using my private key without using a wallet. Is there such possibility at all? Maybe it's possible for some cryptos but for others not... Can you explain how can I work without a wallet? Thanks!
  11. I look at all crypto investments as long term investment - paper cash is the present but crypto is the future! Actually one of my biggest investments is also XLM and I also earned some TRX in the beginning of the year - they both look really good to me but what Litecoin has as advantages are longer existence, bigger market capitalization size and also concerning age and position - it's like Bitcoin at low price. I don't know how you guys feel but when I hear fed's plans to print more and more dollars I feel like all cryptos are doomed to succeed big time!
  12. Well, perhaps LTC community hasn't shrinked but has been silent for some time since as Charlie Lee said in a couple of interviews Litecoin has been regarded as boring crypto lately and that's not such a bad thing - it's just that it's more stable now. But that is going to change soon since they're about to test Mimblewimble until the end of the summer. You can see Charlie Lee himself talking about the latest development in an interview from June here:
  13. It's been long time since I earned my first litoshi and since I missed the moment in the past to buy a whole Bitcoin I managed to do it with Litecoin. I had stopped earning Litecoin for some time, I was holding but never buying or selling until two months ago. I saw that one of my fav altcoins' price is suppressed and I like buying assets while they're cheap so I bought some again and started buying since then. I don't know why but I feel like this year Litecoin's gonna go big. It's just 6th sense I think. Its price's woken up a bit lately and this made me think my senses didn't lie to me... Why I invest in Litecoin? Here are my reasons: - Litecoin stands the test of time - appeared in 2011 and it is still alive and kicking and working ok - Litecoin's code is close to Bitcoin's one but it's optimized for faster transactions - so if you like Bitcoin you should like Litecoin as well - Litecoin transactions are fast - Litecoin transaction fees are really low - After so many years of existence despite all new crypto that appeared meanwhile Litecoin still keeps its market capitalization high - it's still in top 10. Currently at 8 position - Litecoin's creator is Charlie Lee - a computer scientist who worked in Google but once he started his work on Litecoin he's now fully devoted to it - In crypto space Bitcoin is regarded as crypto-gold but Litecoin is the crypto-silver so if that is true - in the end only gold and silver will shine - It's dirt cheap now having in mind all qualities it has What do you think of Litecoin in 2020? Do you buy, sell or hodl now?
  14. The reward for doing such simple tasks looks quite high in comparison with other mobile apps so it really sounds like a scam but I could give it a try.
